E verybody has emotional problems in life - that's just part of being alive. So if you have them, well, join the club!  You're part of the human race.

What is it that allows some people to move on and have what they want in life while others are mowed under by them?

In short, the key to getting beyond them is not to deny them, but to learn to manage them and then managing them.

Think of dealing with life's emotional problems in the same way you'd manage plants in a garden. Some take weeding, some pruning, some feeding, some need to be uprooted.

Whichever approach is needed, the bottom line is that if you don't do something about them, they just keep growing. Like weeds. And pretty soon things are absolutely out of control, you're stressed to the max even thinking about what to do and you wonder how things got that way.

Bottom line: you can't just let them happen. The best strategy is to approach them like a wise gardener who knows that addressing them when they first pop their heads above ground is the best strategy. When they first show their little heads, that's the time to look at them squarely and consciously, and pro-actively decide your approach, "Is this something I need to weed? Or feed? Or prune?  Uproot?"

In this respect, your strategy is no different whether you're dealing with an actual garden outside, or the garden of your mind. What you allow to grow, will! And what you plant and tend and feed, will flourish.

So, what if you've let things get away from you, and now you've got some things growing that are, well, huge?

Well, what would you do if you needed to remove a tree that was too big and about to topple over on top of your house? Forget about it? Not a good idea. Manage it yourself? Not good either. That situation calls for professional help - a tree-remover-of-the-mind so to speak.

And what about things that you want to have grow, but they're only limping along, not flourishing? For example, like the idea, that you may - just may be good enough. You just may be an OK person. Something you want to feed, for sure.

This is where emotional nutrients are the solution. They can make all the difference between something in your 'emotional garden' that dies on the vine and something that flourishes and bears much delicious fruit.

Don't know what they are or how to get them? No problem.
